I really don't knowhow Icamet this conclusion, but if I'm honest with myself, I have to admit guilt. An interesting example of this phenomenon is work: We speak in terms of having a job not of doing one. Its Small, simple, almost in perceptible difference, yet it means a great deal when We consider it in context. We HAVE dinner, we don't eat it. As a result we HAVE an obesity epidemic. I believe we start out as doers, and some of stay doers, but as time goes by more doers become Havers. I think it probably starts when ascribe excitement to obtaining the things we use in our doing, whatever that me be. When we make that mental shift, when we learn the importance of the having to enable the doing, we start down a slope that can be difficult to recognize. Before we know it the getting becomes our doing and we are on our way to being hovers instead of doers. Socialism is the Havers' government. Instead of focusing on the doing, Socialism attempts to ensure we all HAVE.
The concept is whirring around in my head but wont slowdown enough for me to get a good look at it right now.
